Redemption process

Silver, Titanium and Gold members may redeem points for free travel, free upgrade awards on flights with Vietnam Airlines or airline partners, and for the products and services of our GLP partners. Read on to learn how to redeem points

New rules applying to the procedure of Award claim

Effective from 1st September 2008, Members need to pay attention to new more rules when making award request:

When sending Award request, Members must attach a copy of your Identity card (ID) or Passport that are compulsory to the procedure of claiming Award.
Members must present your Membership Card and ID (or Passport) if directly picking up the Award Ticket.
In case of a Member wish to authorise another person to receive the Award ticket, the authorised person must present his/her ID (or Passport) together with Letter of Attorney and a copy of member’s ID (or Passport).
Before the Time limit date of award ticket’s booking reservation, if Members do not receive any information about the award’s status, Members please contact to Golden Lotus Plus Center or Vietnam Airlines Offices for more information.

Airlines awards

GLP offers all members the following airlines awards(*):

Members’award tickets
Redemption group award tickets
Companion award tickets (**);
Upgrade award MCOs

Members will receive awards with more than 15,000 points in their accounts.

(*) All types of award tickets are valid for one year from the date of issuance (except promotion award tickets, which vary according to each campaigns). Upgrade award MCOs have the same validity as paid tickets.

(**) Companion award tickets are only issued when the companion is traveling with the GLP member, who are only issued only when the beneficiary is accompanied by Member traveling with a paid ticket on exactly the same itinerary, at least on the first flight, in the same class of service (Terms & Condition, #61)
